FAQ'S / Frequently Asked Questions...

How far out do I book my wedding day hair and makeup services?

WZ typically books up to 9-12 months in advance with a signed agreement and a 50% non-refundable retainer of your total services booked. Please note your date is not secured until your service agreement & retainer is received. However, we may have some availability within 3-6 months. Please inquire!

Is a trial run free?

The trial run is never free, it is pre-packaged with our bridal services and we highly recommend our brides to have the trial done.

When should I schedule my trial run?

Trials can be scheduled prior to booking or once your date is secured. WZ recommends waiting one-two months before your wedding day. This way you can perfectly plan the details of your dress & jewelry and create the best look for you. You can also use the trial run for an engagement session, bridal portrait, bridal fitting or shower. The trial run is scheduled in studio and takes on average 1.5-2 hours. Most of the time you will have both a WZ Artist and WZ Stylist.

What is the difference between traditional vs airbrush foundation?

WZ uses MAC, Makeup For Ever and her exclusive WZ Beauty cosmetic line. The traditional foundation is a water base product and provides a more natural finish. I recommend it for my brides/clients with dry skin looking for a healthy glow. It's a water proof foundation, set with powder and the final set is finishing spray to seal in the makeup. The airbrush foundation is a silicone base which provides a matte finish. This is for my brides with oily to combination skin and I highly recommend it for my summer brides as well since it requires very little to no touch ups in those hot summer months. It's also waterproof and once it sprayed on no setting products is needed. It is also a HD foundation which means it photographs flawlessly and photographers love it too.

NOTE: We book trial previews and makeup lessons in studio by appointment only. WZBS team travels on location the day-of wedding.

SPRAY TANNING FAQ'S

When should I get a spray tan for an event?

We recommend 2-3 days prior to your event. Try to schedule a trial run before your event so you are happy with the desired color. If you can also avoid spray tan your face and neck. This can sometimes alter your foundation color.Â
